The Rebel Kitchen Takeover #WORLDMYLKDAY

The 1st June is World Milk Day, a whole day dedicated to acknowledging that creamy, white stuff. But, in true Rebel Kitchen style, we’ve decided to question the norm by launching our takeover. A day to celebrate our own Mylk, let’s call it #WORLDMYLKDAY and celebrate our dairy-free alternative that both tastes and looks the same way milk does…

Do you miss waking up to a fresh bottle of milk on your doorstep like the good old days? Well, Rebel Kitchen are bringing the milk man back with a twist. Pounding the capital’s pavements from the crack of dawn, our amazing team of rebels will be armed with thousands of Rebel Kitchen Mylks, delivering our plant-based alternative to homes all over the capital.

Our Rebel Kitchen Mylk recipe is made from just six simple, organic ingredients which we’ve carefully curated to replicate the flavour of a real dairy milk. We use coconut cream for that all important creaminess. We use Himalayan salt to add a subtle savoury note and brown rice for the sweetness that naturally come through in a dairy milk. Cashews add an earthy depth of flavour and nutritional yeast replicates grassiness. Then a splash of spring water. That’s it. Simple.

We know when it comes to dairy milk, everyone has a personal preference, so it only seemed right to offer you the choice when it came to our Mylk too. Our three variations all ignite die-hard advocacy. Each has a coloured top that relates to the traditional colours you’re used to: Skimmed is red, Semi Skimmed is green and Whole is blue. Coconuts are a pretty essential part of everything we do here at Rebel Kitchen (if you haven’t already noticed). All of our coconuts come from sustainable, ethical farms in Sri Lanka and the Philippines.
